Thirty-two long and blasphemous years after their formation, after an untouchable inception, a decade in silence and triumphant return to the throne that they themselves had a hand in creating, after an ensuing avalanche of top notch releases… ineffable Finns ARCHGOAT stand firmly as one of the most consistent and respected Bestial Black Metal bands the scene has ever witnessed. Now, despite their lengthy reign, rather than showing signs of weakening they only seek to continue their streak of domination – November 26th will see twin brothers Ritual Butcherer (guitars) / Lord Angelslayer (vocals & bass) and the savage Goat Aggressor (drums) unleash their fifth full-length assault on all that is holy.
Recorded over two days in foulest plague abyss of 2021, the devastating onslaught of Worship the Eternal Darkness has all the thematic unity, arcane knowledge, otherworldly class, and divine filth expected from such a renowned band. Worship The Eternal Darkness was recorded and sound engineered by Teemu Velin and produced by Ritual Butcherer. The legendary Chris Moyen (BEHERIT, INCANTATION) is, once again, responsible for giving visual form to ARCHGOAT‘s musical blasphemy. The layout was done by Kontamination Design, band photos by Arto Soini Photography.
Worship The Eternal Darkness will be released on CD, tape, vinyl, and digitally on November 26th. High quality merchandise (t-shirt, long sleeves shirt, and hooded/zip sweatshirt) will accompany the album. Coinciding with the album release, ARCHGOAT will embark on a headliner tour through Europe together with Norwegian act WHOREDOM RIFE and Austrian Black Metal band THEOTOXIN.
